Below is a link to one of President Roosevelt's speeches. This speech takes place about one year before we are bombed at Pearl Harbor. Roosevelt is saying throughout the speech the status on the war and how the Axis idea of government clashes with our own. For quite a bit of the speech he stresses the fact that if we do not take action, America could be right in the middle of the Axis powers bombing range.
Throughout the speech you can hear pathos related items in the speech, such as examples everybody can relate to.
